Connect ChatGPT or Claude
Connect ChatGPT or Claude to Syncra with your own account.
Syncra connects to ChatGPT and Claude through a connection called MCP. You sign in with your own Syncra account. The AI only sees the teams you belong to, and it can both read data and save changes on your behalf.
Server URL
When the app asks for a server URL, use this one:
https://syncra-mcp.onrender.com/mcpSign in the same way you sign in to Syncra: with Google, Apple or your phone number. Don't fill in a separate client ID or secret. Syncra handles sign-in itself.
Connect
A custom connection requires a paid ChatGPT plan and developer mode.

Turn on developer mode
Open ChatGPT and go to Settings → Apps → Advanced settings. Turn on Developer mode.

Create a connector
Go back to Apps and choose Create.
- Name: Syncra
- URL:
https://syncra-mcp.onrender.com/mcp - Authentication: OAuth
Leave the client ID and client secret empty.

Sign in to Syncra
Finish creating the connector. ChatGPT opens the Syncra sign-in page. Continue with Google, Apple or your phone number.
Then start a new chat and turn on Syncra in that chat.
In a workspace, an admin first turns on developer mode under Workspace settings → Apps.
You can add the connection on a Free, Pro or Max plan. The Free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, the organization owner adds the connector first.

Open connectors
Go to Customize → Connectors. Choose + and then Add custom connector.
On a Team or Enterprise plan, the owner adds the connector under Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web. Each user then connects it themselves under Customize → Connectors.

Enter the URL
Name it Syncra and use
https://syncra-mcp.onrender.com/mcpas the server URL.Don't open Advanced settings and don't fill in any OAuth credentials. Choose Add.

Sign in to Syncra
Choose Connect next to the connector. The Syncra page opens. Continue with Google, Apple or your phone number.
Turn on Syncra in a chat whenever you want to ask about your team's data or have the AI log changes.
